Happy Moon Homestay is a family home in Corjuem, Aldona, with five guest rooms, a big living and dining space and a quiet village around it. That makes it a good small venue for art and craft workshops, yoga mornings, writing and learning circles, creative retreats and small get-togethers. The living room takes 15 to 20 people. If you teach, make, facilitate or simply want your people in one calm place for a few days, WhatsApp +91 95034 25896 and tell us what you have in mind.
I’m Ulhas. Anuja and I live on the ground floor with our family and host every gathering ourselves. We like having artists, teachers and curious people in the house, and we would rather host a sketching weekend than a loud party. Here is what the place can do, how it works, and what it is not right for.

What can you host at Happy Moon?
- Art and craft workshops: painting, sketching, pottery hand-building, block printing, azulejo tile painting, journaling.
- Yoga, breathwork and meditation: morning sessions in the living area or on the balcony, before the day warms up.
- Creative and learning retreats: 2 to 5 day residential programmes where participants sleep, eat and work in one house.
- Talks, readings and small performances: book readings, poetry evenings, acoustic music, film or slide talks for a seated group.
- Get-togethers and getaways: artist and alumni meet-ups, family reunions, birthday lunches, small team offsites.
- Cooking and food sessions: Goan home-cooking demos with our family kitchen.

Are you an artist, teacher or facilitator?
We work with artists, educators, yoga teachers and facilitators who want a home base in North Goa for their workshops or retreats. You bring the programme and the participants; we take care of the space, rooms, meals and local help. A few ways this can work:
- Residential retreat: your group books the entire home for 2 or more nights and uses the living area as its studio.
- Day workshop: a half-day or full-day session for local and visiting participants, with lunch or tea from our kitchen.
- Stay and teach: stay with us for a week or a season and run regular sessions for guests and the Aldona community.
Send us a short note on WhatsApp: what you teach, the format, likely group size and dates. We reply with what fits and a quote.

How much does it cost?
Every event is quoted on request, including any projector, mats or art supplies you need, because a 3-hour sketching class and a 5-day retreat are very different. As a guide, residential groups pay the entire-home rate of ₹9,500 a night for 10 guests (₹600 per extra guest, up to 16); see our entire-home group booking page for the full breakdown. Meals start at ₹150 per person for breakfast. Stays of 2+ and 7+ nights booked direct get a discount. We accept cash, UPI and bank transfer.
What is not right for Happy Moon?
This is our family home in a quiet village, so a few rules stay firm:
- No parties, bachelor or bachelorette events, DJs or loud amplified music.
- Quiet after 10 pm. Acoustic music and readings before then are fine. Outside participants attend daytime sessions only.
- No smoking indoors, and no beef or pork on the premises. Alcohol in moderation.
- Small groups only: up to 15 to 20 people in the living room. We are not a wedding or conference venue.
Why Aldona for a retreat or workshop?
Aldona is one of North Goa’s greenest villages: paddy fields, the Mapusa river, old Goan houses and very little traffic. It is 40 minutes from Mopa airport and 20 minutes from Thivim station, yet far from the beach crowds, so groups actually rest and focus. Between sessions there is Corjuem Fort 5 minutes away and river walks; read our Aldona travel guide. Mopa airport pickups cost ₹1,200.
We are Airbnb Superhosts, rated 4.9 on Google (140+ reviews). Read what guests say on our testimonials page or see the house in our photo gallery.
